The Dinokeng Game Reserve is a unique reserve formed by combining state owned property and privately owned plots to form the DGR. At ten years old, it has the potential to become a model for future conservation where people and wild animals live in harmony. And it is on the way to prove itself as an example for successful transformation with so far more than 800 permanent jobs created for people living in the adjoining communities. The DGR is a Big Five game reserve and hosts both white and black rhino populations. To protect these rhinos they have an anti-poaching team that consists of rangers, dogs and dog handlers. With the increase in poaching, they approached Baby Rhino Rescue for help with additional technologies to monitor and detect illegal poaching activities within the reserve. We are very pleased to announce this new partner and are committed to keeping their rhinos safe!
